SitFit Classes
“Ready to Get Moving?”
Welcome to SitFit Classes…
Each session runs for one hour, giving everyone time to settle in and feel comfortable.
- Join from the start time to get set up and ready
- Classes begin 10 minutes after the start time and run for approximately 40 minutes
- The final 10 minutes are for a relaxed wind-down, questions, or a quick chat
BODY TONING
This class focuses on strength and conditioning, to help keep muscles active and the body feeling energised.
It’s a guided class aimed at improving mobility, maintaining tone, and helping you feel more supported in your stability, and everyday wellbeing.

STRETCH & MOBILITY
This gentle, chair-based session begins with slow, flowing movements to help ease the body into motion.
The stretching section is designed to improve flexibility, while encouraging relaxation and relieving tension.
The class focuses on good posture and alignment, helping you feel more confident.

EQUIPMENT
For some members, the use of light hand-weights, and/or a flexibility band (or similar alternatives), for added toning and resistance are optional, but not essential.
If you require more information on various types of equipment, please contact the SitFit team who will be more than happy to help.

SPOTLIGHT SESSIONS
From time to time, we will offer special sessions that introduce different styles of movement and wellbeing activities.
These sessions are designed to bring variety, enjoyment, and new experiences, while keeping the same welcoming and supportive SitFit approach.
Sessions may include styles such as Tai Chi, Zumba, and Bollywood-inspired movement classes.
A relaxed opportunity to explore new ways to move, connect, and enjoy something different.

My focus is on creating a safe, welcoming space where everyone feels comfortable. SitFit isn’t about pushing limits—it’s about helping people enjoy movement, feel supported, and being part of something meaningful.

Hello, I’m Chrissie, one of the SitFit instructors.
I’ve been in the fitness industry for many years and bring a wealth of experience, along with a real passion for movement, dance, and helping people feel good.
My sessions focus on gentle movement, stretch, and enjoyment—creating a space where everyone feels relaxed and encouraged. I love helping people rediscover confidence in their bodies and enjoy being active again.
